I really enjoyed this book even though it was a little confusing at times. But overall it was well written with a good story to be told. It's like nothing i've ever read before & at times i did feel sorry for both Emma & Mackie, the hand life had dealt them seemed a little hard but then things in Gentry weren't always as they looked not everything is what it looks like. People in Gentry except things don't question when things go wrong, when their children go missing & they find an ugly thing in it's clothing in its crib, the things don't normally live long but Mackie is the exception he is different which is mainly down to his sister Emma she loved him just because she wanted to not because she had to.
