I love this series, it'd make a fantastic TV show.Harper & Tolliver are asked to go to a small town, Doraville, the name is very misleading, by a grandmother of a missing boy. Harper discovers a whole lot more than she ever expected. She is then attacked, put into hospital.

A lot of people are disgusted by the relationship that develops between Harper & Tolliver, but they are not blood related, they wasn't brought up as siblings, they was in their teens when their parents got together. They was each others support through their parents down fall, looking after their younger step-sisters, now those girls are related to both of them. Same dad as Tolliver, same mum as Harper.

Back to the book, yes it was a little doom & gloom, a little repetitive as in every book we are told how Harper got hit by lightening. But having said that, what she does, doesn't offer up much joy & happiness, she is after all looking & finding dead bodies. I will read the next book, what i'm lead to believe is the last book.

After searching the internet, i have found that Syfy have bought the rights to this series to make it into a TV show. I shall await it with baited breath
