After wanting this book for ages, i have finally read it. What can i say? Lets start at the beginning. Caleb saves Kat when he was a child, when she thought she'd had enough of living & was going to meet the sun. To repay his kindness, she help his mum & Caleb made a better life for them. Do i find it creepy? No,yes she killed his father, but did he deserve to live? No,he was a brute who would of destroyed both Caleb & his mother. They both went on to achieve a good standard of living. Many years later, a chance meeting!! Kat is being taught history by Caleb, who is now a college lecturer.

Why does life never run smoothly for vampires? When she told Caleb what she was, he didn't react as expected....is there a right way to react when you're told the person you love is a vampire? i don't think so. Anyway, he mulls it over, thinking things through & he decides he can't just forget her, he is falling for her. Not only has Kat got that to deal with, some of her vampire friends are vanishing & it seems not by their own hand. it seems someone is killing them.

Throw in one hell of an anger vampire, dead set on her so called revenge, it makes one hell of a book to read. Twists & turns...although i did guess one thing that happened.

I am looking forward to the next book which i have already got waiting for me on my kindle.
