I can't believe i had this book on my bookcase. A friend had told me about the dark hunter books. She said i'd love them. And she was right, i did love it. I was a little slow to get started but once it did, the pace was constant throughout the book. I liked how Grace wasn't a giggly female, she was strong, sassy & knew her own mind. Grace doesn't believe in all the same stuff her best friend Selena does but she kinda goes along with it as not to hurt her feelings. Grace was so kind & patient with Julian showing him the world that he had found himself in. Grace had been used before so she wasn't going to use someone else. I loved how Grace read to Julian, the intimacy of that act touched my heart, yes it made me go, awww, it was sweet. Her aim was so sweet & pure, it was selfless. Some of it could of been her training as a therapist but i think most of it was her nature. Julian couldn't believe she would want him for anything other than his body, its all any woman ever wanted. Yet she was different, she cared more on a deeper level. It took him a while to understand it, to accept it too. The moment the realised the both was falling in love, it scared them both. It rocked them to the core.


Its a great introduction to the dark hunter's world & the characters who we will get to know & love.

I would recommend this book. If you like black dagger brotherhood, Immortals after dark. You will also love these. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.
