So... yeah, i'm finished with this book. Well at first i loved it, loved how feisty Violet was, how she didn't take any shit, she wouldn't back down. Yet she changed, i didn't like the sudden change, the way she accepted what was happening, maybe she did develop feelings for Kaspar. But he treated her like crap, they all thought she was scum, below their feet. Then she came back with that fire in her belly, standing up for herself, no matter what was thrown at her, even her own death.Yet i do understand that she had to accept certain things would happen. I do hope she gets to see her sister again, Lily, did i see a flickering of something with Cain? So in the end, i loved it, there was a few twists & turns that i didn't expect. A brilliant first novel. I am all ready awaiting the second book.
