OMFG!! What a book, this is a novelette, it maybe small but it delivers a huge sucker punch. This is the second part, in a three part series, to The Ex Games, where we both met and fell in love with Brandon and Katie. Seven years ago, Katie then just 18 met the very handsome and dashingly good looking Brandon. Seven years ago she told a very small, teeny, tiny lie, that lie grew so big it has devastating results.
Anyway back to the book in hand. I am keeping this short as i don't want to spoil it for others.
In some ways i wanted to slap Katie for being so gullible and sometimes stupid. She allowed herself to be used. I couldn't understand why she acted in such a weak way. Yet at other times i marvelled at her strength. How she wanted to turn the tables on him. Yet Brandon seemed to be holding all the aces as every time Katie thought she had the upper hand, it came crashing down on her. Some secrets are revealed, some more shocking than others.
For a small book it is jam packed full of tension, of drama, of love and twists. It is not missing anything, not even a beat.
Eagerly awaiting part 3
