I love reading and i will read, well, try, just about any book. My favourite genre is paranormal. Yep i am a huge fan of vampires. Recently i have started reading romance novels. I also enjoy erotica novels, the likes of 50 shades, the crossfire series.

Much more recent i have discovered indie authors and i am enjoying reading their books.

My motto is :- Read what you love, Love what you read!!

Convicted (Consequences, #3)

Convicted (Consequences, #3) - Aleatha Romig This is the concluding part of the Consequences series. Have we learnt all the consequences in our bid to learn the truth? Will we be ready to listen and accept what we can't change?

This was one amazing series. Yes i hated Anthony 'Tony' Rawlings (Anton Rawls) at times i hated Claire too. I must say that i never expected Catherine to be the mastermind behind it all. That did surprise me.
Yet i pushed my feelings as far to the side as i could. I had to let go of them in order to read this book. As much as i hated him, Tony, i also did admire him for acknowledging and accepting his guilt and his mistakes. We have all in our lives, at some point, trusted the wrong person, we know how much it hurts when we realise our mistake.

Things had taken a turn and Claire, with help from Phil Roache, (whom i never trusted how wrong was i?)Phil was Claire's saviour and her crutch. Without his help Catherine would of fore filled her presumed destiny. She would of finished Nathaniel legacy. They was hiding out in paradise. An isolated island. Claire had left a clue in a safety deposit box for Tony and she hoped he would choose to use it.

Eventually Tony with help from Phil turned up on the island and Claire couldn't be happier. But on the mainland things was spiralling out of control and Catherine was using everything she could to seal the legacy once and for all.

They had to leave the safety and comfort of their paradise, the only place Nichol had ever known as home and head back to the states to save Claire's family.

When i read that Claire was incarcerated for her own good. I was angry at Emily for not allowing Claire visitors. Yes i understood she wanted to not upset Claire or cause her any extra distress. I was happy to see Meredith an important cog in Claire's recovery. Yes Meredith conned her way into Everwood but she did it to help her friend. In my eyes Meredith became a better person, yes at first it was about writing another book but then, when she saw her friend and how she was. It changed something with Meredith and instead she wanted to help her friend.

I seemed to be thrown into an array of emotions again. One minute i'd be anger, the next overjoyed.
I was very surprised to find out that it was Amber who actually killed Simon, that was shocking. I wonder how Harry took it and the rest of the employees of Sijo.
I had tears stinging my eyes when i read that Claire believed she had murdered Tony and that was the reason no one was allowed to mention him.

Summing up, it was an excellent series and i am very glad i read it, even though at first i wanted to launch my kindle at the wall more times than i care to remember. I am really looking forward to Behind his eyes. Maybe, just maybe Tony can redeem himself a little more. No I don't hate Tony quiet as much as i did in Consequences.
