I love reading and i will read, well, try, just about any book. My favourite genre is paranormal. Yep i am a huge fan of vampires. Recently i have started reading romance novels. I also enjoy erotica novels, the likes of 50 shades, the crossfire series.

Much more recent i have discovered indie authors and i am enjoying reading their books.

My motto is :- Read what you love, Love what you read!!

Eighty Days Yellow: Book One of the Eighty Days Trilogy

Eighty Days Yellow - Vina Jackson WARNING---------WARNING-----MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS---------WARNING---------WARNING

Exhilarating, seductive and tantalisingly bold, EIGHTY DAYS is a love story that will leave you breathless for more.

I have really enjoyed this book, i have cried, laughed, shouted, screamed at Summer. Yes sometimes she does appear weak & easily lead but that said, she did eventually stand up for herself, she realised that she was in charge.
When we first meet Summer she's laid naked on her boyfriends living room floor listening to music, he isn't impressed one bit, more disgusted. She busk's on the underground & during one of those times a fight breaks out & Summer's violin gets damaged, Dominick who heard her play a week before had slipped a £50 note into her case, hears what happened & contacts her. Dominick spent a lot of money on a violin for Summer, she played for him naked in a crypt. The have an understanding.

Again this isn't for everyone, to me its slightly darker than fifty shades, this has much more of the Dom/sub relationship, it goes down the path of slaves & masters,of swingers clubs & fetish parties. I am no prude but some of it made me wince & wonder why anyone would willing give control to someone else, but each to ones own, i won't judge something i don't understand, there has to be a solid trust there, something that wasn't there between Summer & Victor, he is darker, uncaring, not at all like Dominick. Summer's so called friend Charlotte,i believe she set it up, the party, the way she held onto Dominick's attention, like she was trying to punish Summer....no i think Charlotte was jealous of her.

I am looking forward to Eighty Days Blue which is out on 13th September.

My final word is, don't take my word for it, judge for yourself. What have you got to loose?
